Dear Wyndham Customer Care,
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your property, as what should have been a comfortable experience turned into an unacceptable situation involving multiple maintenance failures, safety concerns, and a lack of proper management response. Upon arrival, we were initially assigned a room where the plumbing was not functioning, specifically the toilet. I was later informed there was already a note indicating the issue; however, maintenance had not yet addressed it, and the room should not have been assigned to guests in that condition. We were then moved to another room, but the issues continued. The new room had a significant gnat infestation, with insects flying throughout the space, as well as wasps present on the balcony, creating a clear safety concern.
The overall condition of the room was extremely poor. The pullout couch was severely damaged with a large hole, making it unusable. The plumbing produced a loud, horn-like humming noise whenever the shower was used, which echoed throughout the entire suite. The refrigerator did not keep items cold and remained lukewarm. The wooden furniture was chipped, stained, and clearly in need of repair, and the televisions displayed a green, grainy image with visible static.
Service during our stay was equally disappointing. When we requested washcloths, we were told the hotel had run out and were given towels instead. On our second day, we requested housekeeping at 8:00 AM; however, by 7:38 PM the room had still not been serviced, forcing us to strip the beds and handle the linen ourselves.
Most concerning, a curtain rod fell while my four-year-old child was underneath it, creating a serious safety hazard. Maintenance later stated that the nails can become loose over time, which reflects a lack of preventative upkeep. Additionally, the curtains were visibly dirty and discolored, the bathroom paint was peeling, and the tile work was uneven and in poor condition.
Throughout my stay, I made multiple requests to speak with a manager and was repeatedly told that no manager was on-site. However, when I finally spoke with a manager the following Monday, I was informed that management had in fact been present on both Wednesday and Thursday of my stay, meaning my concerns were not properly escalated or communicated. When I called Monday to speak with the manager, I was placed on an extended hold and initially told the manager was unavailable due to being busy. I was then told I could not receive a refund, despite never requesting one, as my only request was to speak directly with a manager. Only after clarifying this was I finally transferred.
Given the severity of the safety hazards, unsanitary conditions, and lack of proper service and communication, I am formally requesting a full refund for my stay. This experience fell far below Wyndham’s expected standards, and I expect this matter to be taken seriously, reviewed thoroughly, and resolved promptly.
I look forward to your immediate response.

Let me just say, yay.. it’s slightly better than the Wingate connected, but it disappoints me how little they try, there’s a 9th floor ballroom that’s completely walled off and the outdoor elevator that ran up has been replaced with a closet door, and the elevator button is still there…? The card scanner for the pool door lock works 1/8 of the time. The elevators in any part of that building feel like a death trap and all barely work, I genuinely would not ride on those again if I was paid. In The second floor of the left wing (4 floor side) the amp for the fire alarm system was shot and making little high pitched beeping noises, which in my opinion is quite annoying if your staying over there.
Overall… this could be a place to go..? But it’s VERY dated and you should take caution if you book here

We stayed here in early March 2026 while coming in for the rodeo. They had the best room rates around that was in walking distance to NRG Center/Stadium. The room was nothing special, king size bed, sitting chair, desk and office chair, tv. The room was clean. Small bathroom, you had to step to the side to open and close the door. It did not have a mini refrigerator. It did have a kureg coffee maker, but was broke. I called a few times to the front desk. I had a no answer, we are extremely busy can you call back in 30 minutes and another no answer. It is very close to the highway and can be a bit noisy, so have earplugs in case.
Unfortunately, we had to pay a ridiculous amount to park because of the rodeo. It would be nice if they wouldn't charge the guest that are staying that ridiculous amount and only charge the people that are only coming in to park for the day. I probably would stay here again because of the proximity to NRG, but may also check other nearby pla es to see if they charge extra parking fees to there guests during events or not.

Wow! Just wow! We booked over the phone and were told the room had “two queen beds”. We arrived to have two beds slightly larger than a twin…I wouldn’t even say they were double beds. They were not large enough to accommodate 4 adults. We pivoted and agreed to a king room because “there would be a pullout sofa” for the same price (no concession was made by the hotel). BUT NO PULLOUT. Hotel would not refund us and manager never responded to staff and the MOD was said “not to know the system”. Saturday night 11pm and here we are. We wound up having to take two rooms again with no concession. Fast forward, next day…we returned to the rooms just as we left them. Had to stand in line for fresh linens because you have to “schedule service”. This hotel is not ran like a Wyndham. I travel quite a bit and have never been met with such deception, unprofessionalism and just not hitting the mark at all. Talk about deceptive and evasive business practices. If you can get a room for $50/night… go ahead otherwise stay elsewhere.

BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE!! I stayed there one year ago for bbq cook-off and noticed on March 1st of this year they charged my credit card for $1400.49. Again, I have not stayed here for a year but they kept my business credit card on file and fraudulently charged it without me being there!
I spoke to manager (Oberlain) who did nothing to help me so I now have to go through credit card company to dispute.
These people are crooks!!!
