Hotel was nice very modern updated look, staff were really friendly and the Hispanic lady that works for the kitchen was very attentive and restocking the eggs and pancake mix as soon as it ran out. Overall my experience was good. The only concern was the toilet was leaking each time after we flushed it.

Everything was great. Every staff member I met was kind and helpful. They seem to genuinely care. Love the ice buckets and convenient ice locations. Love eco friendly soap/ shampoo squeezers. The room was great it just had a slight smoke smell. Still very clean Overall very nice. Except breakfast. Breakfast was gross. š

Let me start by saying this review will comprise of pros and cons, as I feel itās important to give a multi-angled point of view.
We arrived around 15 minutes prior to our check in time. However, the staff had the room ready anyway and we were quickly directed to our room (212).
Upon entering our eveningās accommodations, it was quickly understood this was going to be the smallest place Iāve ever slumbered (Small will be a recurring theme here). Pro: my memory of being locked up in Harris County will forever feel a bit more spacious. But I digress.
My partner soon realized she didnāt have any water handy, but did notice there were shelves behind the front desk full of clear gift bags with bottled water. So she made her way downstairs, and waited for quite a time before just helping herself to a bag. Pro: there might be free water, if itās not free, just take it.
After a long drive, not taking time to stop for a restroom break, I knew I was going to get to experience that long lost hotel number 2. As I entered the chamber, I noticed there was no fart fan. Now you might be saying āyou arenāt comfortable enough around your spouse to hear them use the bathroom?ā. The answer is no. But donāt you worry, weāre nice and close with each other now. Follow along for why. In the absence of the fan required to entertain my time, I opted to turn on the shower, which did the trick. Pro: Great shower pressure! Remember the theme of small, here goes. I proceeded to place my body firmly onto a throne that I can only imagine was perhaps 3 centimeters from the ground. I felt like I was using the bathroom from the room below me. What happened next, apparently becomes more common as you become 40-something. As I went about my business, what I can only describe as the underpinnings of the bowels of a dragon directly from Hell emerged from my body. Congratulations, my first one. Guess my deadlifting days are over. As the night continued, so did my ability to sit correctly. What could it be? What did I do to deserve this ? I simply was ready to enjoy a lovely Saturday night stay out of town with my bride. Pro: my wife and I have become very comfortable with one another since weāve been home. Magically, I survived the night, showered again the next morning, and prepared myself for what was surely going to be the most uncomfortable 2 hour drive home.
So, āTru by Hiltonā on 290 in Cypress, Texas, you ask was my stay memorable? Oh my dear, I can honestly say I have thought about my stay at your hotel at very least once, sometimes twice a day.

The managers and front desk attendants can't answer simple questions they tell you to call back at certain times just to not get information that you've called for very unpleasant and unprofessional. I just got a email from mycne Groce the "front desk" manager asking why I stated my experience about the unprofessionalism when calling about the the information I've been calling about four to five days and must say it was very unpleasant and unprofessional once again trying to tell me about my experience with management and front desk

Not having a laundry in house was a bummer.
The rooms I feel are a bit congested.
Breakfast, Gym and pool were really good and with ample parking space.
