Went to go eat with my family today , it’s decorated nicely but pretty empty. The chips and salsa had zero flavor both red and green (which is my favorite) so we politely asked for a spicer salsa which they only had for the red salsa. The food was made fresh and the staff was friendly however the food as well was pretty bland. My enchilada was just chewing a tortilla with cheese because my gravy was barely on my plate and I couldn’t taste a thing. The fajita was tough and honestly only tasted like salt and pepper. My dad got a torta which he liked but would’ve preferred it wasn’t made with American cheese. My mom got enchiladas and the same issue no flavor with the food or rice and our rice was mushy. Plus 3 drinks.
The total came out to $73 with cash or $76 for card… we were not told that there would be such a drastic upcharge. They also charge $2 extra for the salsa which we were not informed beforehand which wouldn’t have been an issue but you have to let people know at least out of courtesy. I do not feel that food was worth $80.
We will NOT be returning and when we informed the owner that we weren’t told of any upcharge she had no concern. And yes we speak Spanish as well and she could’ve cared less.

Ordered the Shrimp queso flameado and pambazo. Really thick and good queso with warm tortillas made me feel like home. I’m not even Mexican. The Pambazo is a new sandwhich I tried which is now one of my favorites, coming from a torta guy.
Service was great. They made me feel like I was at home in the restaurant. Will definitely try other items on the menu soon!

Cooking just like mom or abuela makes.
Super friendly staff.
We liked the salsas with the chips, the chile relleno and rice.
Good prices.
The restaurant had unique decorations.

First time here with a Great outcome. Place was comfortable, clean with Friendly n Courteous service. Big menu with large selection of Delicious food and drinks. They have a Bar fully stocked for that Flavorful beverage. My choice was Carne Guisada that came Hot. Fresh and Delicious with Handmade Flour Tortillas. Great Atmosphere to bring that Special someone. Highly recommend it.

My new favorite Tex-Mex place in Humble! The food was really fresh tasting and had a great flavor. The service was fast, and we barely waited at all! I'm looking forward to going back to try more items on the menu. The only complaint I have is that the fountain sodas were sort of flat and syrup heavy.
