The facility is beautiful — the Koi pond is such a great touch. However, the rooms are very old and dated. We bring sandals for hotel stays, but I made a quick walk to thermostat and felt how old and icky the carpet was. The rooms could definitely use enhancements. Our window looked out into the pond and lobby, and we appreciated how quiet it was through the night (no street noise like we’re used to). Check in was easy, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a good stay.

Absolutely gorgeous Hotel. We were gifted a room for Thanksgiving and Christmas and it was the perfect time away! I Absolutely love seeing the fish and feeding them. I am featuring the lobby on my Youtube channel @thruglasseyes - the description of the video is "What does a crash mean to me and sharing the blessing we received for Christmas". Definitely a must visit if you are in the area!!

Noor was the best host for our team. She was always by our side making sure we had what we needed. Customer service can be tough but it’s clear that this is where Noor excels. Thank you so much for making our groups stay the best, especially when many of us were in Houston for our first time.

The Hyatt Regency Houston West feels like a high end, luxury hotel, although the rooms are in need of updating. The wall paper was peeling and the carpet needed to be replaced, but at least stretched. We were upgraded to a junior suite and enjoyed the extra space while we were there for 3 nights. The service both at the front desk and the restaurant was top notch. The restaurant buffet had good food, although some of it was not hot. There is a pool and exercise and room on floor 1, it is accessible from floor 2 and down the rear stairs so as not to walk through the banquet room lobby. Overall, it was a very nice stay with hotel employees who were very helpful.

I was at this hotel for a conference. It was ok. The lobby, restaurant, bar and coffee market are updated and nice. There’s a pretty “lake” that flows outside and through the lobby with huge coy fish you can feed. The rooms need to be updated with new bath fixtures and furniture. The bed was comfortable though and my room a/c worked well. They ran short on hot water in the evenings, so take your shower early in the day. I had a scare with one of the elevators when the doors shut on my shoulders hard when i was trying to get out of it. That needs to be fixed. I’m a strong woman, but it could have really hurt a child or older person. The restaurant and banquet food was good. There’s coffee market was great! I don’t know the area well enough to rate it, but there were two very good restaurants within about a five minute drive.
