Had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Houston S - NRG Area - Med Ctr! The location was perfect, right near the stadium and medical center. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great amenities and easy parking made the experience even better. Would definitely stay here again!

This being my first time to Houston, I was happy to find a hotel close to where I was visiting with such a great staff and atmosphere. We were helped by Jerry, who answered all our questions and was both helpful and polite. Katie another wonderful front desk staff member was able to help me with a problem and she went above and beyond. On my first day, we had breakfast in the Trellis as Susan took orders, served, and cashed out guests all with a smile. I've also enjoyed reading by the bar as Elizabeth and Monica served me quickly and with a smile.

The customer service at this property was elite. JERRY at the front desk was top notch! He was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind! He made the stay extra special! Definitely an asset to the hotel! Also, the convenient location of this property was certainly great! You won’t go wrong with selecting this property! Kudos to the staff! Well done.

**Frequent Traveller Review Must See**
We thought being near the NRG venue was gonna be awesome. So got there to have fun until... Old Hotel with smell, walls dirty, carpets extremely dirty, with prices over the expected, not at money per Value deal. On top of that, staff has knowledge of car breaking in at the property, and they seem not to care for and see it as a normal thing. Even with security at night, things are happening, and this can ruin your plans because of looking for cheap. Strongly recommend not staying here. At full capacity, 1 out 3 elevator working, so lines to take the elevator had 5-15 minute wait. LOCATION is perfect when walking to the stadium but not safe at all. Plus, if you think it was us only, the car next to us got 2 chipped windows(front and back passenger,as they couldn't break the window), and sun roof broken.
The property staff keeps saying in there review replies they are under renovation, but at the moment they have no construction nor signs of renovation around.

I was here for a party held in one of the conference rooms. The space is a decent size but there weren't enough chairs or tables. The hostess had friends bring in extra chairs for guests.
The room was also extremely warm. It was kinda cool at the beginning of the party, but it really hot really fast. The AC was reading 78 degrees and it was 90+ degrees outside. The maintenance person came into the space twice, but it didn't get any cooler.
The location is great but if the AC isn't working in Houston, that's a problem.
