The Holiday Inn Express Pearland: a hotel divided,
We found ourselves lodged in the old Wing—a place where time stood still, and so did the bathtub... because the drain was clogged. The carpet and furniture is in need of an update. Amidst the declining décor, the bed was clean and comfortable. This wing earns a 2-star experience—one for the bed, and one for the fact that nothing actually collapsed during our stay.
Meanwhile, our friends resided in the Glistening Newer Wing, where modern comforts abound! Their carpets remained firmly attached to the floor, their bathroom fixtures functioned as plumbing intended, and they even had new large TV's. A respectable 4-star stay for this wing.
So, would I stay again? Perhaps—if I can book the right wing.

I am staying two nights in the bottom floor queen suite. The bathroom had a puddle of water on the floor that I tracked into the sitting area. TV is on the wall in the next room. So you listen to what they are watching all night. There is a volume control.

Great place, great staff, great food! I've been to many hotels and this place is by far one of the best places i have stayed at. Everyone is super friendly and the atmosphere here is very inviting.
Keep doing what y'all are doing 👍

Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. I gave it a 4 because the door on my hotel room lock was broken and the handle had to be turned just right to open it.

We tried a stay-cation here. The staff was nice. The food was not. The room was okay. The pool was filthy. The hot tub had not been well kept for some time. Take the stairs because the elevator is extremely suspect. The whole hotel is a bit dated and in a random part of town.
At least, my kid had a good time.
