This is one of the worst Holiday Inn Expresses I have visited. There's been a dead cockroach outside my door for the past three days, the bathroom faucet is barely attached to the counter and is far too close to the edge of the sink, the walls are paper thin, the A/C has no way to run the fan to help me sleep, I've killed several earwigs during my stay and there's obvious damage in the bathroom that hasn't been fixed. The breakfast here sucks- no fruit, one of the hotplates is always empty, there's no breakfast bars to take with you if you are in a rush and they haven't had any sticky buns out yet. The staff was friendly and helpful but they stepped over the cockroach body on day one and still haven't touched it, so I can't give that 5 stars. At least it's close to a grocery store, I guess? If this wasn't a company expenditure I would have already left.

If I could give negative stars, I would have! -5! The walls between rooms are paper thin. Don't let your imagination run amok because it's as bad as you think. We had the unfortunate luck of having a neighbor whose dog barked every time there was a noise or if someone walked down the hallway. Plus, we also had to listen to their TV all night. As an added insult, all of the luggage carts were missing at 9 PM when we checked in. I ran and checked all four floors and no luggage carts were to be found. What kind of hotel doesn't even have luggage carts? Anyways, it gets worse. The AC unit in our room was completely worn out and we sweltered for hours waiting for the room to cool down while the wall unit sputtered like a geriatric career smoker. The toilet still had unflushed leftovers from the prior guests. Surprise! We called the front desk about the issues and she didn't even react! She advised us that the hotel was almost sold out and we would need to pay more for a room with a queen bed when we'd already paid for a room with a king bed. We had a miserable stay and whoever runs or owns this hotel is asleep at the wheel. If you read this far and are still considering to stay here, may you be blessed with a better stay than we did. Next time we're in Houston, we'll definitely be extending our search results because we'd rather drive longer and pay more for a better nights sleep. This place got our money once but it will never again! 💩👎🕷🪳🪱🏚

As I was checking in, i asked the front desk to go see the room before i pay, big mistake, it seemed as i broke some rules, bad attuited from the desk from the start! I told her twice I will not sign nothing until we visit the room, as she decided to take me to the room walk wasn't pleasant. the room was for a handicap wheelchair excisable. I told her this is not for me save this room for a person in need! She stated we are sold out of other rooms, I asked how can that be, I placed an order for my room 2 weeks in advance. I had no choice but to take it and it was terrible, lights would not cut off at bedtime, I requested extra pillows I had to go retrieve, I also had to get extra bath towels as the room only had 1 not to mention so much noise upstairs !! never again. Morning breakfast had no meat on the menus and the food was stale and right out of the freezer

Worst hotel ever !!! I didn't expect much but this is below garbage level. I booked 5 days stay, 3 days while I was there, no cleaning of my room. On the third day, I got a knocked on the door from housekeeping, I told her to just clean the bathroom since I'm still in the room, she said ok and closed the door and the all time, I thought she was in my bathroom cleaning because I was busy working on the computer. I went to the bathroom to check and she wasn't there and the bathroom was still the same way it was before. Went to the front desk several times and same story the lady at the front desk telling me "they don't speak English " why should that be an excuse for not doing their jobs. BTW, The last time I went to the front desk, I met two other people complaining about the same cleaning. How they don't clean and one of them who just checked in 30mins before said she met the room messy and showed us picture of what was in her bedsheets (nasty looking mess) and this was a new check in. Everyone here deserves to get fired because the front desk lady is also incompetent and has no clue of anything. I've never been so stressed staying anywhere in my life. This place needs a serious overhauling

Everything was great except the lady that cleans the breakfast room.
She was rude and stood there watching/ rushing me and my daughter two days in a row to hurry and get out so she could clean..I get that we were kind of late to breakfast but geez lady give us a extra few minutes.
We had been without power all week at home so sleep had been nonexistent for us. I'll never go back here
