This hotel is about 1 1/2 old !!safety first, we have three rooms due to a family member that had to have some surgery and that area so we needed something close to the hospital, all three rooms had things that were broken unfinished, nails, sticking out of the sheet rock, window blinds wouldn’t go up and down, worst the thermometers on the wall were hanging with wires through sheet rock take a look at my pictures, not to say the staff was very unhappy seemed like they didn’t be there. I wonder why, the Cleaning ladies had an attitude we asked for tissue and extra towels, and they threw them on the floor, but main thing this is about 1 1/12 years hotel, and you have things that are very unsafe with your family or anyone to stay in a hotel that has nails, wires, doors, windows, not up-to-date, we spoke to them they never requested for us to move in a different room or even help us out, many times they didn’t even say they’re sorry, they sent a maintenance man with the hammer. If you could see the picture, ridiculous. this is safety for human beings and themselves for a hotel. every time you walked out the door you have to go downstairs to get a new one even if you walk for one second the doors would lock. They said that they had some technology difficult for four days for the door key.

This is one of the worst Holiday Inn Expresses I have visited. There's been a dead cockroach outside my door for the past three days, the bathroom faucet is barely attached to the counter and is far too close to the edge of the sink, the walls are paper thin, the A/C has no way to run the fan to help me sleep, I've killed several earwigs during my stay and there's obvious damage in the bathroom that hasn't been fixed. The breakfast here sucks- no fruit, one of the hotplates is always empty, there's no breakfast bars to take with you if you are in a rush and they haven't had any sticky buns out yet. The staff was friendly and helpful but they stepped over the cockroach body on day one and still haven't touched it, so I can't give that 5 stars. At least it's close to a grocery store, I guess? If this wasn't a company expenditure I would have already left.

I want it known that they never said We apologize, We are sorry for your stress. They didn't care. I paid entirely through Priceline ( a perfectly normal 3rd party booking site). Upon check in I was charged not the $100 incidental( that i was informed is the incidental charge if you book 3rd party) but $114 dollars plus for another room. They tried to say initially its because the priceline hadn't gone through. So I whipped out my ph, and showed them otherwise. Then they admitted the truth verbally and are trying to give me the run around on paper, not actually refund the charge to my bank account. My bank account was charged! They are telling me it is just an authorization. I am waiting in real time for a receipt showing the refund and a Statement from the manager of the understanding of the situation.

As I was checking in, i asked the front desk to go see the room before i pay, big mistake, it seemed as i broke some rules, bad attuited from the desk from the start! I told her twice I will not sign nothing until we visit the room, as she decided to take me to the room walk wasn't pleasant. the room was for a handicap wheelchair excisable. I told her this is not for me save this room for a person in need! She stated we are sold out of other rooms, I asked how can that be, I placed an order for my room 2 weeks in advance. I had no choice but to take it and it was terrible, lights would not cut off at bedtime, I requested extra pillows I had to go retrieve, I also had to get extra bath towels as the room only had 1 not to mention so much noise upstairs !! never again. Morning breakfast had no meat on the menus and the food was stale and right out of the freezer
I will start staying with Marriot

Everything was great except the lady that cleans the breakfast room.
She was rude and stood there watching/ rushing me and my daughter two days in a row to hurry and get out so she could clean..I get that we were kind of late to breakfast but geez lady give us a extra few minutes.
We had been without power all week at home so sleep had been nonexistent for us. I'll never go back here
