I stayed here for a few days and overall things went smoothly.
I arrived about 20 minutes after check-in time, I was greeted and checked in by Georgette who was amazing to deal with. She was professional, friendly, and welcoming. Georgette was apologetic while checking me in and warned me of a short potential delay due to not knowing for certain if my family's specific room had been cleaned yet since the housekeeping staff was still actively cleaning rooms on our floor. Georgette walked us to our room to verify that it was clean and to give it a good look herself instead of just leaving that up to us. We thought this gesture was awesome and have never had any hotel staff care enough to do that regardless of where we were staying. Kudos to you, Georgette!
My only complaint is that the gravy at the hotel breakfast was empty for around 45 minutes and was never refilled before breakfast shut down for the day which is super lame.

Don't stay here. Dishonest management. My reservation was canceled with no notification. I booked a couple of months in advance. I stay at IHG holiday inn express hotels a lot. I contacted IHG hotels, and they contacted this location. The location said they had tried to call me many times( first lie. I have phone records to prove it) then said my card was denied for preathorization ( second lie. I contacted Chase and they looked back to before I made reservation and assured me nothing had been denied) I escalated this at IHG ( parent company of Holiday inn express) they assured me I would get a call from manager. Never happened. Day after day, they kept contacting the hotel, and they said they were going to call. Still nothing. IHG closed the case saying mgr tried to call me. I once again said I can show proof they never called. My friends were staying same night. They got canceled also. Said it was over booked. They booked way in advance as well. I think they are canceling early bookings to replace with higher priced last-minute bookings. Don't risk booking a room here. Imagine driving 12hrs the day before a cruise to find out they canceled you that morning. Good luck finding a room the night before a cruise. Avoid this location.
Follow up to the below reply. My voicemail was not full, and if you had called, my phone would have a record. I am a very reasonable person, but when someone outright lies to me, that is where I draw the line. Prove me wrong. What days and times did you say you called? How about the date you claim my card was denied?

We booked this Holiday Inn express to be close to the way to Galveston and although we could've stayed with my family in SW Houston, everyone knows that Houston traffic is terrible lol. So to Webster we went, to be closer to the Texas city, la marque and Galveston bubble and not having to fork over Galveston hotel prices.
We love the clean rooms, easy check in and free breakfast that is pretty good for the price point, nothing concierge or fantastic but it's a safe place to eat eggs, protein, bagels, coffee and cereal and get going. Furthermore, we always appreciate the safe well lit parking and the fact it's close to target, the mall, lifetime gym, and Sam's club and Costco made it a win for our family as this is all in our bubble back home.
Front desk was very accommodating and welcoming and we even peeked a hot tub and pool for those daring enough to get in the water during the winter freeze. Overall, we appreciated this spot and look forward to returning if we ever are in the vicinity of the NASA/Clear Lake/Webster bubble!

I traveled to Houston and stayed at this Holiday Inn with my wife and her family visiting from Japan
The location and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The gentleman working the reception desk was very professional and helpful.
My problem with this hotel was the young lady taking care of the breakfast buffet. Both days we had to clean our own tables and clean up messes left by others while the young lady working the buffet was in her prep room continuously on her cellphone. I tried to get her attention and she simply ignored me and continued to talk on her phone. I found her to be rude and not helpful. I was embarrassed that my In-laws had to experience such poor service. I will look for a different hotel next trip and cancel my membership with Holiday Inn

I spent hours looking at reviews for a place for our family of 4 to stay for our NASA trip.
It's safe, clean, friendly, and an incredible breakfast spread. Everything you need for a simple stay. Nothing to question, stay here.
Also close to good dining and shopping.
