I usually don't leave reviews, but I had to leave one. I just went to Houston for the Dreamcon convention and the next time I come back for next year, I will be also staying at this hotel! The staff are extremely nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable! There's also a Starbucks inside! I will be coming back to this hotel every year for future conventions or just a day trip to Houston! Highly recommend!

Late reservation of rooms during FWC game, checking in 30mins after reservation. Although I couldn't get connecting rooms, the hotel was accommodating to get me and my son's on the same floor. One room was outside the elevator, which I was a little concerned. But surprisingly, there was very minimal noise from the hall. The rooms and linens were clean; Hilton standard. My refrigerator-freezer was a little iced over, but not a big deal; still usable. The free international breakfast was basic, yet the wait staff was friendly. There is a Starbucks/commissary in the lobby (also OK). Parking garage is shared with the bldg next door, with hotel guests needing to park on flrs 4 and up. Easy central access to elevators from garage. Very near Rice University (1 light away); NRG Stadium also nearby, about 10min drive away. Would definitely stay here again when in Houston.

The lobby was beautiful and very well maintained, but unfortunately the actual room did not match the price point. For nearly $200 a night, the room felt underwhelming and unfinished. It smelled strongly of fresh paint, and early in the morning there were workers banging on the walls, which made it difficult to rest.
The bed was by far the biggest disappointment. The mattress had no support whatsoever and sagged badly in the middle. I woke up with significant back pain and did not sleep comfortably at all.
The front desk experience also left a lot to be desired. The staff member assisting me, Beatrice, came across as rude and impatient. She repeatedly interrupted me while I was speaking and did not seem welcoming or hospitable.
Overall, while the hotel was clean and the lobby looked impressive, the guest room experience did not justify the cost. It honestly feels like more effort is being put into appearances in the common areas than into the comfort and quality of the rooms themselves. I expected much more from the Hilton brand and left very disappointed.

First things first, lobby is nice and open while also just subtly having the different areas be separate(food counter, bar area, and lounge area all separate and yet close enough to bring it together. I had a single king bed on the 15th floor, the AC was simple to use and set, bathroom was clean and the shower gel and shampoo was filled. Pool on the 9nth floor along with the gym, a bar and outdoor lounge area. They had TVs playing the world cup matches facing the bar/lounge area and also the pool. The pool was plenty long enough for you to do laps in but also not deep enough to have too much concern for younger/smaller swimmers. The pool was always refreshing to jump into regardless what the temperature outside was. Breakfast is about $20 an adult and $15 for kids, selection is ok, I've seen continental breakfasts elsewhere that had more selection but the food was pretty good so I can't complain too bad. The snack area has plenty of drinks and salty/sweet snacks to choose from. Also some room service items like giant pretzels or more standard dinner/lunch/snack options. I had the beef nachos and they were delicious, plenty of cheese and guac and beef that taste amazing. I highly recommend the nachos. The red line is just 2 blocks away and there's a few good food options just around the corner so location you can't really beat it. I would definitely choose this place again should I ever find myself in Houston again.

Stopped by to grab some breakfast for my son before his testing and let me tell you the staff are very welcoming. Makaila, and Megan greeting was what I look for when visiting any establishment. They are the best! Thank you ladies for being the example of what great customer service looks like.
We were able to hrab some breakfast and Kevin Roque was on point! He was bery attentive and welcoming. We had the breakfast buffet but my son wanted the vanilla bean french toast 😊! Since being a IHG member not too offer do I experience this level of satisfaction and excellence.
Shout out to these young professionals for modeling the best customer service practices with all that came into contact with them. You are appreciated!!
PS ... a raise or some kind of incentive would be awesome 😉 😎!
