I am a patient of MD Anderson and I’ve stayed here at this location since my diagnosis in 2023. I usually stay every quarter sometimes more. Always consistently clean, good service especially since the new front desk manager is there. The rooms are clean the beds are comfortable. I’ve eaten at the bar multiple times, food is good. It’s a perfect location, quick walk to Starbucks or other restaurants in that area. The best thing about this Hilton are the people.
Eugene is the day shuttle driver and he is so awesome always kind helpful remembering us, and has encouraged me many times and always plays good music in the van!

We’ve been staying here at this Hilton regularly for the last 2 years. It is always the same dependable experience for service, cleanliness and location. Our experience have been excellent. The shuttle is very convenient and the driver, Eugene is great. He’s always friendly and accommodating. Abby F. in housekeeping is the sweetest. Both always go above expectations to make the stay enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better. And these 2 are examples of why we always choose to stay here

The guest service people are friendly, attentive, and hospitable. Upon arriving, the registration guest service rep, noticed I was yawning and tired and referred me to a coffee at their cafe, which was so nice and very much appreciated. At their cafe, Mylinda prepared me a wonderful coffee, and she told me she could deliver food to my room, which was a welcomed relief, as I had work to do.
Everything helped me to be relaxed, comfortable, and productive. The food was warm and delicious.
The room attendants were friendly and had a nice, clean, comfortable room prepared. I appreciate their attention to detail, as it makes for a fluid and relaxing stay.
Parking here is very convenient, compared to other options. The Texas Medical Center can be a bit of a bear, when it comes to parking. Given this location is one block from the main area, it’s remarkable what that short distance can mean for ample, accessible parking.
Albeit not always feasible due to logistics, I always enjoy my stays at the Hilton Houston Plaza.

This hotel is conveniently situated at the hospital with easy access to public transport. Checkin was smooth. The hotel has shuttles to the rodeo show.
Pros - Beautiful view from the room (if your room is not facing the back of the building), safe area, restaurants for quick bites just within walking distance, rice village around 30 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons - The room walls were probably made from ply wood or thin material. Spent half an hour in the morning being awakened by the next room’s “activities” on bed. One of the rooms has table that is wobbly.
Overall, depending on the price of the room, I would say it’s worth it when it’s at off-peak price.

What a great place!
The location is perfect for our visits to the medical center. The rooms are updated, comfortable, clean and very well maintained.
But the staff is what makes this hotel excellent. Virginia, at the front desk was extraordinary. So helpful, friendly and professional. A perfect welcome. RJ was a gracious host and Francisco at the bar was terrific.
I only wish there was a proper dining room. All the eating and drinking here is really in the lobby. The food in the lobby bar is really well done, though. The nice man that brings out and probably cooks it really cares and it shows. The people here really make this hotel exceptional. Thank you.
