Nice hotel, rooms are getting dated but the bed was comfortable and whilst the shower was a bit of a challenge it worked just fine. The room had a view of the lake which was nice. The service in the restaurant was great and very friendly. Taking a beer to the lake was nice.
Parking easy and plenty of it. Location to NASA was great, 5 minutes if that.

We stayed here for two nights and we were unfortunately not impressed. We had orange fuzzy mold in our room. A broken mirror. Housekeeping never came to our room. We had to run them down just to receive some towels. The room was just very beat up. The pool was not lined and was painful on your feet. They were not restocking pool towels on Friday or Saturday. So leaving the pool to use the bathroom or leaving in general wasn't possible. We waited an hour and then asked about it and were informed housekeeping was aware. We waited another hour and a half for them to finally bring towels. Kids were playing baseball inside the hotel. Yes, you read that right. Nothing was being done about it. Lastly, we paid for two breakfast buffets at $24 each and the total came out to $61. They added a $10 tip and we were not informed that would be happening. I'd understand if it was full service restaurant but $10 tip for a buffet is steep. Overall was not impressed and would not recommend.

An old hotel in need of major renovation. I’ve stayed here once a year for a dozen years + and it keeps going downhill. Physically it’s old and tired. The elevators are a disaster. Friday evening at 9:30 there was one ancient, slow elevator in service. Had to wait 20 minutes to get one. Everything from the elevators to the rooms and furniture is beaten up. Even the single ply toilet paper is an insult to the guests.
While the recirculating hot water system is great at getting you hot water quickly, the temperature of the water fluctuates wildly. It is a class C hotel catering to groups that are on very limited budgets. I cannot believe Hilton hasn’t required major upgrades or pulled their franchise.

For those looking to visit NASA, this is the hotel to stay at. Its lakeside view is breathtaking! It has every amenity you could want from a restaurant, bar, breakfast buffet, pool, gym and concession stand.
The rooms are about as good as they can be from a building built 40 years ago. The AC rattles every time it turns on and the space feels a bit cramped. It feels like they've done what they can to keep things as up to date as possible though with a mini fridge, ironing board, work desk and soap dispensers in the shower.
I feel if I could change one thing in this hotel right now, I would place a photo of a coinciding planet at the elevator exit at each floor level. My 7 year old son and I got excited when we reached floor 5 (where we stayed) and saw a big picture of Jupiter (the fifth planet) getting off the elevator. In our excitement, we explored the other floors hoping to see Venus on two and Mars on four. Instead, we got a mirror, nebula pictures, another picture of Jupiter... Details count! Bring
on the Uranus image on seven, Neptune on eight and Pluto on nine.

Checked in last week to visit the space center. The hotel does needs to be updated but for the price and location it was perfect. The check in agent, Michelle H. was so sweet and very helpful. She was amazing. The hotel should have 10 of her! The breakfast was good and overall stay was great. Will definitely be back if in the area.
