I attended a birthday celebration at this hotel on Friday, July 3, 2026. The food was good, and the service was acceptable until it wasn't.
The ballroom was filled with the celebrant's friends and family, but within about an hour the room became extremely hot and stuffy. I personally witnessed several guests ask the staff to address the air conditioning. We were later informed that a staff member had turned the A/C off.
As the room continued to heat up, guests became visibly uncomfortable, sweating, frustrated, and unable to fully enjoy the celebration. This significantly impacted what should have been a memorable event.
Given the circumstances, many of us were left questioning whether this was an intentional act. Because the guests were predominantly of African descent, the situation was especially troubling and left many feeling disrespected and deeply uncomfortable. If this was simply a mistake or miscommunication, the hotel should investigate what happened and ensure it never occurs again. If it was intentional, it is an even more serious matter that deserves immediate attention.
I sincerely hope the hotel takes this complaint seriously, investigates the incident thoroughly, and ensures that all guests are treated with respect and provided with a safe and comfortable environment, regardless of their background.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Sugar Land and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel is conveniently located right off Highway 6, making it easy to get around Sugar Land and Houston.
The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained — everything felt fresh, modern, and very comfortable. The beds were perfect for a great night’s sleep, and the overall cleanliness was impressive. The facilities throughout the property were equally clean and well-kept, from the lobby and common areas to the pool, fitness center, and public restrooms.
What really stood out was the amazing service. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Special shout-out to Rohit and Bob for their exceptional customer service — they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel truly welcomed. Their professionalism and kindness made a big difference in our stay.
Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this Hilton Garden Inn delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and top-notch hospitality. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!
This review hits all the points you mentioned (amazing service, clean rooms, clean facilities, and specific praise for Rohit and Bob) while sounding natural and helpful to other travelers.
Would you like a shorter version, a more formal one, or any additional details added (like the restaurant, pool, or location)? Just let me know! 😊

It was a good hotel but just whenever i cut my foot on accident with glass in the pool they wouldn’t shut down the pool or do anything to even get the glass out. Also they didn’t even help whenever it came to customer service when i mentioned the glass in the pool the lady was on a zoom call with who appeared to be her boyfriend and wouldn’t even look up from the phone. Over all good clean sheets nice shower nice restroom and mid breakfast options would recommend for family’s on vacation but if your looking to swim without getting cut go to another location.

I’m here for our annual Managers’ Meeting, and from check-in to dinner, this hotel has exceeded expectations in all the right ways.
The front desk team set the tone immediately! Warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. The recent upgrades really show: the room feels fresh, thoughtfully updated, and immaculately clean. It’s comfortable in a way that lets you actually relax after a busy morning followed by a long drive!
Room service deserves its own mention. I ordered the buffalo chicken wings with celery and carrots along with a house salad, and everything was prepared perfectly + delivered quickly!

I really wanted to have a good stay, and I will say the front desk associate at check-in was lovely and welcoming. Unfortunately, the room itself was a complete nightmare.
Upon entering the room, I noticed the safety latch on the door was coming off the wall, which immediately raised concerns about security. It was clear this wasn’t a new issue, as the bathroom door had obviously been used by others to wedge the entry door closed.
After unpacking and getting ready for bed, things went downhill fast. The mattress was extremely hard — literally like sleeping on the floor — making it nearly impossible to get comfortable. To make matters worse, the wall thermostat was so bright it lit up the entire room like a nightlight. Even after covering it with a towel, the light still shined through and disrupted my sleep.
The final straw came the next morning when I went into the bathroom and found two roaches crawling on the counter with my toiletries. At that point, I packed my bags and left. I’ve already paid for two nights. I don’t even care at this point.
Between the maintenance issues, poor sleep conditions, and cleanliness concerns, I cannot recommend staying here. Management seriously needs to address these problems.
