Solid hotel.... you just gotta know @hilton the best thing about this hotel is your staff! Geraldine (the cool bartender lady from Monterrey) is the best. She's funny, personable, professional and also just a real human being. I had tons of fun watching World Cup soccer with her and fellow guests. 100% would recommend this place based on how cool she is alone.

My son, who is an active duty Air Force service member, had a confirmed reservation at Hilton Garden Inn Houston Hobby. Upon arrival, he was denied check-in because he is 20 years old and this location has a 21 and over policy.
What was most disappointing was the lack of consideration for his military status. He has traveled extensively while serving and has stayed at multiple hotels, including other Hilton properties, where management was willing to make an exception for active duty military members. When I spoke with the front desk employee, Russell, he stated that this hotel's policy would not allow any exceptions and cited previous issues with guests under 21.
I respectfully asked if his military status could be taken into consideration, especially since other Hilton locations have done so, but the request was refused. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told no manager was on duty. Russell also stated that nearby Hilton properties might choose to honor military status even though this location would not.
Fortunately, my son was able to secure a room at a nearby Marriott property, where they welcomed him and honored his active duty military identification despite having a similar age policy.
While hotels certainly have the right to establish policies, it is disappointing to see a young service member who is trusted to serve his country treated no differently than an unruly guest simply because of his age. A little flexibility and appreciation for those serving our nation would have gone a long way.

TSA line was 5 hours long so alot of ppl missed their flights. Got a room here and it was fairly easy. Had to wait for my room to be cleaned because there were a bunch of other ppl with the same problem trying to do the same thing. This hotel is about as close as it gets to the airport. They have a shuttle, seems like it runs about every 30 minutes or so, not sure on the hours. The rooms are typical Hilton. Since my luggage made it on the plane I didn't have any hygiene stuff. As a result the room having hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner mounted on the walls was clutch. Towels were clean, the room looked clean, smelled clean and so that made it comfortable.
If there's any drawback, it's their store area upfront by the check in register seems poorly stocked in terms of having smart items on the shelf and keeping them stocked, or maybe other ppl already just ate everything cause it was that kinda day, who knows. Just plan on buying Advil or Tylenol or any supplies from a real store, you won't find any quality items here and it's wayyy overpriced ofc. One little Sutter wine, the little personal smallest bottle they got, 8$. And I was at that point so yea, I paid but next time, damn all that.
There's no lack of food options in the surrounding area. Alot of taquerias but there are plenty of other choices.

🚨 ALERT: Birthday Celebration Turned Roach Nightmare — THINK TWICE Before Staying Here! 🚨
What was supposed to be a fun family-and-friends birthday celebration quickly turned into a roach motel experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Hobby Airport on Monroe Boulevard, Houston, Texas.
Imagine stepping into the shower only to be greeted by a roach crawling around the bathroom. Disgusting, disappointing, and completely unacceptable—especially from a hotel carrying the Hilton name. Who wants to shower like that?
We immediately notified hotel staff and followed up with emails to corporate. The response? Apathy. No real concern, no meaningful resolution—just a sense that this is somehow normal business practice. It’s not.
This place needs to be fumigated ASAP. Cleanliness and guest safety should be non-negotiable, and this stay fell far below even basic standards.
Anyone thinking of staying here should seriously think twice. A birthday celebration shouldn’t come with unwanted pests and indifference.

Worst breakfast I have ever had. The bacon was burnt to a crisp. You couldn’t even bite it. Same with their sausage links. I tried the pepper on three tables. They were all empty. I ran my bread through their toaster twice, and it was barely warm when it came out. I would like a refund because your breakfast wasn’t worth two cents.
