We have stayed at this Fairfield on several occasions as it is close to family that we regularly visit. It is always clean, the beds are comfortable, breakfast options are easy, and the water pressure is fine. It is the efficient and pleasant staff that makes booking here always a clear "yes." And, if you like a homey touch during holiday seasons - you'll enjoy your stay even more. The one thing I would point out (when booking) is to ask for a room on the back side of the hotel to alleviate traffic noise during the morning commute. If they can, they will work it out for you.

The room had a musky smell. The Air Conditioner had a weird sound that kicked off and on all night. Only 1 elevator working while I was there. I did not report any of this to front desk because I stay in a lot of hotels for work and you come across crappy ones sometimes. I usually just move along. But I'm writing this review because in addition to all of that, this hotel charged me $30 for towels that they say I ruined. They provided pictures of what looked like blood or makeup stained towels and said that they were ruined. I don't use any strange products and I didn't have an injury. I tried to explain this; that there must be some mistake. Never in my 20+ years of staying at hotels have I been charged for towels. They refused to refund the money. I have already initiated a chargeback so they're not going to get the money anyway but figured others should know about this extremely poor experience. I would never stay at this property again.

I recently stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Houston Katy and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, which immediately creates a comfortable impression. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and easy.
On the downside, the breakfast options were quite basic and limited. While it’s nice that breakfast is included, a bit more variety could definitely enhance the guest experience.
Overall, it’s a nice and convenient place to stay if you’re looking for cleanliness, comfort, and good service. With a few improvements to the breakfast offerings, it could be even better.

Great employees. Best customer service in Houston. We came up here from San Antonio for some roof repairs in an apartment complex 5 minutes away from the hotel. We weren’t expecting to stay so thank god we found this hotel which was 5 minutes away from job site. We didn’t come prepared so front desk crew helped us out as best as possible with persona supplies. I’m amazed with the hospitality at this location. I highly recommend it!! Hope to come back soon and stay a few more nights.

We were here for a wedding and were told that our rooms would not be cleaned because they were following the Covid protocol. What? They were unable to change our room sheets or clean our rooms. We could not get extra towels or garbage bags. We had to go down to the front desk for more towel tissue because the hotel only supplied 1️⃣ roll when we checked in. Wow! The icing on the cake was when we went down for breakfast, they only put out a few items out for us to eat and told us that we could not get any more food. It was 8:00 am. This was the worst experience, and the hotel staff was never at the desk; it was like we were bothering them by being there. 👎🏾
