Great dine in experience, the food, service & atmosphere was top tier! I tried something different, a chicken, shrimp & crawfish combo that was amazing. Very tasty & filling, highly recommend

El toro. We went to the one in Clute texas in the 70s and 80s .I remember the paintingson the walls. Growing up in Brazoria County, We went almost every Friday night for years. Now I live in Jefferson County, tx, and when we pass through baytown on Garth Road, we have to stop in and eat. The service has always been great. The food hot and fresh and the margaritas are delicious. Try the Matador. Thanks for the decades of memories with my family.

El Toro hands down has the best margaritas in Baytown!!! The food is delicious and always warm. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Their rewards program is great. Above all, I love coming back because they have one of the best bar tenders I’ve ever met- Logan! He’s quick, friendly, and always anticipates your needs once he gets to know you. He’s become like family over time which is the mark of a GREAT server/bar tender.

We went and tried this place for the first time ever. I do not live in the area and don't know anything about this place. I have driven by it multiple times over the years while working in the area. I just know it's a big place and sometimes it seems to be pretty busy with a lot of cars in the parking lot.
I'm just gonna be honest here.
It was okay but nothing special. My wife wanted to try the chicken fajitas, so we did. It was an average portion size. To me, the chicken lacked seasoning. It wasn't bland, but it wasn't seasoned well either. When you put all the toppings on the fajita taco, you won't taste it because all the other flavors mesh together. When I tried the meat by itself, it was a different story.
The flour tortillas seem to be homemade. The chips and salsa were good. The rice and beans are reminded me of old school Tex Mex.
It's a huge place with good decor. They were showing the Astros game and also NFL football games.
You get free ice cream on the way out.
I thought the server was decent. He was attentive.
I just don't understand when you tell somebody you never been therefore that they don't care more about that part of it. The server never asked how our experience was. Not a big deal to me, but if it were my restaurant, I would want to know what my new customers thought about my first visit.
The staff were friendly throughout the restaurant. we got lots of smiles and hellos when we walked in. We were also giving a friendly farewell.

Pretty dang good spot. Really pretty inside. Very authentic looking. Nice bar. Staff was super polite and tentative. Food was great. Almost fell like you need to dress up, but nope! Not necessary. But it is very upscale looking. Definitely going to visit more often.
