We had an outstanding experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton Houston – Greenway Plaza, and a huge part of that was thanks to Manager Khytyorria Wiltz.
From the moment we arrived, the front desk was incredibly busy, with several guests waiting for assistance. Even with so much going on, Khytyorria never made anyone feel rushed or overlooked. She took the time to genuinely care for my family, kept everyone informed about what was happening, and made each guest feel seen and valued.
What impressed me most was her ability to balance efficiency with kindness. As we stood in line, you could almost feel the tension disappear because everyone recognized we were in the capable hands of a true customer service professional. We even found ourselves exchanging smiles with the other guests, silently acknowledging that everything was going to be okay because she had it under control.
Great hotels are built on great people, and Khytyorria is exactly the kind of leader who creates memorable experiences. Hilton is fortunate to have someone with her professionalism, grace under pressure, and genuine heart for serving others.
Thank you, Khytyorria, for making our stay such a positive one. You truly are a rock star!

Where do I start?
When I arrived, I was initially given a room that appeared clean, but the refrigerator sounded like a coffee maker running constantly, making it impossible to ignore. I went back to the front desk, and the staff was friendly and quickly moved me to another room.
Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. As soon as I walked in, my allergies started acting up. I checked around the bed and nightstand and found dust and hair built up behind and underneath the furniture, showing the room hadn't been cleaned thoroughly.
I returned to the front desk again, and they assigned me a third room. While the staff continued to be helpful and accommodating, this room also had cleanliness issues. There was visible mold growing around the air conditioning vent, and I woke up the next morning with a bloody nose and allergy symptoms.
The hotel's location was convenient, and I genuinely appreciate how courteous and helpful the staff were throughout my stay. However, the condition and cleanliness of the rooms were unacceptable. Housekeeping and maintenance need significant improvement before I could recommend staying here.

So this is a very nice hotel. The staff goes above and beyond. Super helpful and just very nice people. The room was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and very quiet. I really enjoyed my stay. The only problem was finding the entrance. It's a little pricey but well worth it.

The staff was very nice and tried to make us feel as comfortable as possible. The room we got first was too small and my husband didn't like it so they accommodated us in a bigger room at no extra cost. It is literally located inside the downtown so it was very convenient. The pool was not as clean as expected but daughter enjoyed it a lot. The shower wasn't working and it only had super hot water. There was no way to balance the temperature so that was uncomfortable when trying to take a shower 🥵 We called for help and none came to assist. Other than that, our stay was very nice. There is a daily $35 parking and breakfast is not included but is pretty decent at an affordable price.

Good hotel for the price and a comfortable place to stay in Houston. The rooms were clean, staff were friendly and it had everything we needed. It's not a luxury hotel, but it does the job well. My only complaint is the parking fee, which felt quite expensive. Overall a solid stay and good value aside from the parking costs.
