Do not stay here. Not sure how this place has close to 4 stars. It felt like I was staying at a motel. The sheets had visible stains, the sink was clogged, hair on the bed sheets it was gross. It did not feel clean or sanitary. With the price I paid for the room I at least expected a visually clean bed. The hotel really needs remodeling. The front desk people were okay. I mentioned my concerns of the sanitation of the room to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager. They said the manager was not available and that they would call me which they did not.

Checked into the DoubleTree by Hilton in Houston for a one-night stay and it was a great experience. As members, we always appreciate consistency and this location delivered.
There's a Starbucks located in the lobby which makes it a nice addition for all you Starbucks fans. We stayed on the 12th floor and had a great view of the city. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable.
Guest service was professional, efficient and genuinely friendly. Overall, this feels like a place we'll be staying at regularly.

My stay began on a very disappointing note. I was visiting to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately, several aspects of the experience fell short. The initial service from the front desk staff was minimal, with no explanation of hotel amenities or notification of issues such as the escalator from the parking garage being out of service. I believe this information should be communicated, especially when guests are directed to park in the garage.
Additionally, the room did not meet the standards I expect from a Hilton brand property. There were visible stains on the flooring, stained light fixtures, and dim lighting in the bathroom. Overall, the hotel appears to be in need of a significant upgrade.
That said, after speaking with a manager/supervisor, Robin, my experience improved considerably. She was exceptionally pleasant, professional, and attentive. Her positive demeanor and willingness to follow up made a meaningful difference in my stay. Had it not been for her assistance and customer-focused approach, I would have checked out early. Because of her, I was able to make the best of the remainder of my visit.

The property itself was outdated for what was advertised. Most certainly not a 4-star hotel. I would put this as a 3-star at best. Shower/bathroom was small and the door closed into the toilet area, so it was hard getting in and out. The room was big. The staff was decent. The only 5-star recommendation I can give for this review was the valet staff. Excellent service there. Only issues was the texting was non-existent as it was not working majority of the time, so you have to go downstairs to request your car - But they do park it right outside so it is convenient.

Service like none other! The staff here after an extended stay feels more like family than "staff". The valet team pays attention and alert at all times, more than helpful. They work together like a smooth running machine. They even had to jump the truck for us one night! Always happy to greet us as we return! Front desk, I made all kinds of off the wall requests. They were more than gracious every time. Sprigs should be a breakfast buffet destination in Houston! Maria asked every day how we were doing with genuine concern. I looked forward to seeing her in the morning! Must mention Scrambled eggs with chorizo, pecan French toast! Compliments to the chef! Thank you all so very very much. Made us feel great and welcomed! Maria &Maria's sister @sprigs and Jorge at front desk, Best in Class!
