Very horrible & disgusting experience. I have been meaning to do this full review but have been so busy. Here are a few pictures before I forget. I will be elaborating further. The service as was horrible. Roaches in room. Disgusting coffee makers. Showers wasn’t working properly. Toilet broken. Desk hasn’t been cleaned. Apparent dust in a lot of places. It smelled musty. Rat in kitchen. No accountability. This was the very worst hotel experience I ever had in my life. This was the only double tree I ever visit with this poor of quality. But as mentioned I will elaborate further when I get a little more time. I would not suggest anyone to go there. Hunt at why it was only like 10 percent of the hotel occupied & hint why the restaurants could barely stay open the whole time because of labor cost. The workers were very unwelcoming. Only person I could say that had excellent customer service was OZZY out front, but I believe he was hired by third part valet service.

Worst most over priced stay I've ever had. It was a nightmare staying here! First- their was no mention of a surprise 75.00 deposit at check-in, most hotels explain this in booking confirmation emails. Second- Upon entering our room it was about 84 degrees sweltering hot in our room. We had to eventually be moved to a different room. Third- Room is tiny for what you pay and the bed is a full size and not a queen. No microwave in the room, and the ice/water machine was out of service on our floor. Fourth- No complimentary breakfast (you have to pay 18.00). I was surprised seeing how I paid 238.00 for one night and no breakfast at all??? Fifth- No free parking you have to pay to park your car there. This place isn't even that nice, it's very dated. Despite the upper class image the place is a dump. It was the worst stay I had ever had at a hotel and the most expensive for a single night but the price was not worth the stay here, and the front desk staff were a lil on the snooty side and not very welcoming or understanding of our concerns. My advice.... There are way more affordable hotels nearby that offer you more amenities than Hilton-Doubleteee. I mean they at least have free breakfast and a microwave in the room with a bigger bed the price will be under 100 bucks compared to this place. Never again.

This was a waste of money and just a headache. We booked through T-Mobile travel. It looked decent in the pictures and our main concern was having a pool as we were traveling with an infant who’d never been in a pool since Chicago is cold this time of year.
Anyways- we rented a car and when we pulled up to the hotel there was absolutely no parking available as they had maintenance trucks taking up every possible spot. We signed the temporary registration so the rental can stay in the parking garage. The form said we’d be charged $30/day- well we were charged $60/day even when using the hotel key.
The housekeeping services were honestly gross. We found stains on the comforter that we didn’t make and there was a stain our baby made on the bed and when we came back the bed was made so we assumed the sheets had been changed. Well they just made the bed over the stains with the same sheets. When we complained the front desk told us we have to call the front desk and let them know we want housekeeping to change them??
The pool was disgusting and dirty.
The shuttle wasn’t working and the room service was bad as well.
Don’t book here.

What I really liked as a large person was the air conditioning on the ceiling was aimed the bed which I loved! Staff very friendly and very helpful ice machine was broken I came downstairs and within three minutes they got me ice. Service is always quick. Starbucks and bar restaurant at location very convenient! I came here to visit in Lakewood Church for my first time from Canada and I am definitely coming back and staying at this hotel as it is a 3 minute walk from the hotel

Think twice about the Doubletree Houston Greenway Plaza. Yikes. Old and needs a complete gut. My first room had fleas in the carpet that ate my ankles while I was working. The downstairs bar wreaks of mold and the TVs don’t work and “they can’t figure out why” but the power kept going off/on in various outlets. The tequila is crazy expensive ($30 for a double shot of 512 Tequila… a bottle is $40) the front desk did end up moving me next-door and I had to take the feather free pillows with me. Thank God I was only there for one night. But the carpets in both rooms are old and have that wet loose feeling to them. Both the ACs never really cooled the room. Cigarette hole burns in the curtains, and just all in all dingy dark rooms. The good stuff? The people. And having a Starbucks in the lobby.
