Overall, an okay stay for the emergent situation we were going through.
Expect to see ants and cockroaches.in the room, I have killed a few.
Expect employees not to be present around breakfast time to refill food items unless you call. They show up and refill then.
Not really well positioned in the city, but not too far from the downtown either, but definitely need a car. Not a walkable area.
We had told them in advance multiple times that we need an itemized receipt and that we would be leaving in the middle of the night. However, still, not ready at the time of our departure and the poor nighttime guy had to work around it. It took us close to 40 min to have it done.
Walls are thin too. One night, our neighbors were really loud after midnight and the staff was very responsive when we called. This issue was addressed immediately.
It's not that cheap either, but reasonable compared to other fancier places.
Overall, stay there if you have to, suboptimal room cleanliness and you need to ask for other services, but they are responsive.

Subject: Poor Room Conditions and Unsanitary Environment
I recently stayed at your hotel while in town on business, and I was very disappointed with the condition of my room. The furniture had burn holes, and I saw roaches crawling from behind the bed. The room appeared fine from the outside, but once inside, it was in unacceptable condition. I ended up leaving and sleeping in my car because I couldn’t stay in that environment.
I’m requesting a refund for my stay and wanted to bring this matter to your attention so it can be addressed for future guests.

It seems my comment was removed so here it goes again. The receptionist lady was very rude during the check-in. At first she said we didn't have a reservation, and didn't try to look more into it. We showed our confirmation and after a while she asked for payment. She got mad when I didn't give her my credit card pin number. I asked for the card reader and typed my pin. The room was dirty for a hotel, and there were a lot of suspicious people all the time outside.

The hotel is not ran as a brand nor with the customer service most hotels are ran with. This hotel appears to safeguard against customer's getting over with the side effect of compromising great customer service. There was an altercation between two individuals staying next door at 3am to which the front desk staff (family owned) watched and ignored even after I called to report it. I was aware they were watching because they commented when one of the patrons left. They did not enact any safety measures and the patron returned the next morning to reunite with the other. In regards to reservation, the hotel told me that had to cancel my reservation and create a new one because I was not using the same card I booked with and in turn refused to change the length of days of my stay event though they create a new reservation. Ultimately I want to stay here brand loyalty is honored. This location is not that.

This place is great! The staff are very nice and they really tend to your needs and make sure everything is in order and working before you arrive. Every time I call them with any request, they make sure to get It done. I make sure every time I go to Houston to stay at this hotel, and I will continue to book my rooms there!!! First rate experience every time!!!!!
