Was double booked on a third party site, got approval for cancellation on one of the bookings from said vendor yet Comfort Inn denied my request and refused to honor the refund even though it was already approved. Unscrupulous and terrible business practice, citing a nonexistent company policy. So they charged me twice for the same room. Room was noisy and fridge didn’t work, advertised hot breakfast yet none was provided, only offering dry cereals and a rusty waffle maker. I travel 200+ days out of the year and regularly stay at Comfort Inns, this is the worst one and experience I’ve ever had. Terrible management who are never onsite and never return emails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. Their prices are lower because they can’t attract customers based on merit or service. If I could give it a 0 star I would.
In response to comment left by management: your claim is patently FALSE and a FLAT OUT LIE. I have the email correspondence from Priceline proving that they approved the cancellation and refund. It was YOUR FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE WHO DECLINED TO PROCESS THE CANCELLATION, citing a nonexistent company policy. The fact you have the temerity to try to mislead me or the public speaks volumes about the type of shady leadership you have.

I wish I could give it not 1 star, first off when I walked in it wasn’t the most pleasant from Prabin , he should definitely get some customer service training. When I preceded to check in I was asked for a $100 deposit , are you kidding me. I have never heard of that and especially being in this location. I can see a $20 deposit but $100 , it’s a no. I booked through Priceline and can’t get a refund and I won’t use them again and definitely will not come back this way, I just needed a few hours of sleep because my place flooded. I will definitely be disputing these charges with my bank. Relux at westchase is a better option and it’s up the street!
$100 deposit was not noted on the booking and please address to your employee how important good customer service is as well cause it wasn’t there.

The front desk staff did an excellent job. Nabina, communicated very clearly and professional. It made the checking process very smooth. The room was comfortable and well prepared. Overall, it was a great stay

Overall our stay wasn't very pleasant. We came into town for a wedding, and when we arrived and got checked in our tv wasn't working. We checked in late, so we decided to just leave it for the morning. The next morning, my husband god to speak to them at the front desk and is told that maintenance and housekeeping wouldn't be here until 9, and something should be figured out then. By 10:30-11 am there was no update. I understand the matter was not pressing to them because they weren't the ones who spent money. The lady at the front desk tried giving my husband the run around saying most likely they would come look around 1pm. I ended up asking if there was a manager around, if we could move to another room because that is ridiculous. I was told that there were no rooms clean at the moment, but she would do what she could because when they checked the tv before we came in it was working. Making it seem as though WE broke the tv that we never used. At noon they informed us they had another room available.
This morning, my husband tries to take a shower, and in the middle of it the hot water cut off. Idk what is going on, but we will definitely not be coming back to this Comfort Suites next time we have to come to Houston.

cleanest fitness center. cozy rooms. Clean. Good customer service. Great place to stay when going out for date night to Sam Houston Race Park!
