Further update; no the carpets weren't vacuumed as i figured just beds made, went to the front to show the lady at the front desk she stated oh my manager had cleaned the room and she even talked to you , u guys where playing uno in the room. I don't know who she spoke to or cleaned who's room but it was not me, nor playing. We weren't even in the room when they came to make the beds. I told her to send the manager my way when she is in. We have not ate any pancakes in the room only chips , we are checking out tomorrow morning finally I'm very disappointed in the way they "clean" the rooms.
Edit to add contexts, I was simply reviewing condition of room upon check in as a guest..I did go to front desk notifed them of the toe nails and was told they could put me in a different room but I stated no as my son was already asleep and honestly didn't want to risk getting into a room in worse condition so I requested some one to come clean it. Was told it would happen the next day as the house keeping was not in. I asked if they had a vacuum I could use she stated not until tomorrow because the one she had acces to are broken. So I requested sheets for the beds and pillow cases that I myself took back to my room and switched out my self. The next day around noon when we left the room I did flip over the sign so house keeping can let themselves in and take care of the room. When we returned the beds had been made and restoked , however not convinced it was vacuumed. First impressions are everything so yes y'all tried to fix the issue but again just stating my honest review upon first checking in the condition of room.
Just checked in and found toe nails on the carpet and the sheets don't look to be switched. Would not stay here again.

I love this hotel. I’ve stayed here on two occasions in the past month.
The hotel is clean and elegant.
The housekeeping staff work extremely hard throughout the day to keep the hotel presentable and functioning.
The breakfast is delicious and well cooked.
I really appreciate the staff efforts and pride in their work!

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel y overall it was an excellent stay, I have zero complains or negative comments. Our check in was nice, quick and clear instructions. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Only the pillows are weird... they are more like couch cushions, but I didn't find them uncomfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good, it included eggs (served in different presentations each day), sausage, variety of cereal, hot cakes, bread (toast, muffins), yogurt, fruit (apples and bananas) and drinks (water, coffee, milk, juice). I liked that there was a very friendly staff member making sure that the space was clean and refilling what was needed. I would suggest to add bacon and hash brown potatoes to make the breakfast even better. We didn't use the pool, but it look nice. My husband used the gym once and it was ok for a little exercise. Parking lot was always available. I would definitely star here again.

The rooms were modestly sized. Smallest shampoo/conditioner/body wash I've ever seen at a hotel. The views were pretty bad all around with my room looking over a restaurant next door. I also asked for a blanket since the blankets in the room are very thin, and was given what felt like a towel with a massive hole in it. I've attached a picture of the blanket with the hole.
Also there was no central air in the room, only a big, loud, outdated floor unit. It was so loud it would sometimes keep me and my husband up at night, but necessary to be on as the room got hot. I think all of the rooms on the outside where you can look down and see the lobby have no central air, while the ones in the sectioned off hallway do, as my husband's sister's room had central air it seemed.
The breakfast is mediocre at best. One day the orange juice was so watered down I couldn't drink it. The floors are always also slightly sticky, especially in the elevator and breakfast room.
Lots of shady characters that go through this hotel, one that even was eyeing my husband's sister and tried to start a fight with her husband. Pretty sure they were drug dealers. Another shady thing was in my husband's mom's room there were some very suspicious unsigned car documents tucked in the ironing board. Very sketchy. The staff was very accommodating however at least and let us know when the weird characters would check out so that's nice at least.
If you're coming on business, it serves a purpose, but it's definitely not a luxury and if you can maybe talk to your company and ask for a better hotel. At least the location is convenient.

Best Western Plus is my go to for short stays. Easy reservation process. Great service and clean rooms. Was extremely disappointed in the hot breakfast at this specific location. I’ve stayed at other locations that had great options for their FULL hot breakfasts and the reason Best Western Plus is my choice. Breakfast at this location was disappointing.
