I recently stayed at Comfort Suites near Westchase on Beltway 8, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room was in poor condition and didn't resemble the photos advertised online. The furniture was outdated and damaged, the carpet was stained, and the bedding didn't appear clean.
The bathroom was equally disappointing. There was mold in the shower, and the faucet was leaking. The towels provided were thin, worn out, and had an unpleasant smell.
Noise was another major issue—thin walls meant I could hear conversations and TV sounds from neighboring rooms throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep.
To top it off, the air conditioning unit was either broken or barely functional, leaving the room uncomfortably hot. When I reached out to staff for assistance, they were unresponsive and unhelpful.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had, and I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

So the room was great. It was clean and large and comfortable. There was breakfast every day which was nice.
What was not great was the service. I had stayed for 3 nights. After checking out, the front desk made a big fuss around me staying for a bit in the lobby. She said I had to get out in 20 minutes which I thought was rude. Ended up walking outside before a friend picked me up. Very rude, other hotels have the full service.
Also, like many others said there is indeed a 100$ charge so watch out for that

I recently stayed at Comfort Suites Westchase, and I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel boasts not only a welcoming and clean environment but also outstanding employees who make a real difference. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay, offering helpful recommendations and promptly addressing any requests. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a relaxing retreat after a long day. Overall, Comfort Suites Westchase stands out for its excellent service and quality accommodations. It’s a top choice for anyone visiting the area.

Don't come here expecting the "Comfort Suites" you're used to. Front desk service is terrible, foreigners that have no idea what southern hospitality or even common courtesy is; probably because they're located near the ghetto & have to deal with thugs all day, but when someone comes in dressed appropriately and speaks eloquently they should be treated with mutual respect. I chose this hotel bc it was a comfort suite, but regret that decision. The laundry machines only takes quarters, but they don't have quarters(?). The ice cream from the concession was half melted. The place smells like a hamster cage. They require a $100 deposit, so be prepared for that surprise (they should inform you during cart checkout before paying) I wouldn't have stayed here if I would've known about the deposit because there's nothing in these rooms worth it. The rooms don't come with any USB ports, the cable doesn't work on TV, the fridge makes loud noises, the A/C unit is 15+ years old, maids are obviously underpaid, repair/handyman are apparently incompetent, couch looks like a biohazard to sit on, bathroom amenities are non-existent. Now I have to wake up early to buy clothes bc I couldn't wash them and to take a shower at my gym after buying toiletries. This isn't a real Comfort Suite, it's a "Con"fort Suite and it's obvious by the responses they post on each bad review basically saying "it's our policy*. That's right, it's YOUR policy not every Comfort Suites policy. They make ridiculous rules and have every opportunity to correct the bad customer service standards, however instead of evolving they remain stagnant like the smell of their hotel. I can't believe the experiences some people write about on here and I find it even harder to believe management acknowledges their inconsiderate behavior and finds it acceptable. I won't ever stay here again, and I implore you to choose "the other" hotel you were considering initially.

Update based on room change: In summary, polite staff, 2 of 3 rooms were dirty with smell of smoke or mildew and had torn couch covers.
My expectations for hotels rooms are relatively low. I simply would like a clean room.
When I opened the room to the 1st room, there was an overwhelming smell of mildew. It was so strong, after 5 minutes I had to request another room.
This room smelled less, but the couch covers were torn. The shower did not have hot water.
Because of our circumstances, we booked 2 nights, but separately. They would not allow me to combine the reservation. The staff was polite and relayed it was against policy. This seems to be an ownership issue. They made me check out by 11a and check back in the same day at 3p or they would charge me extra - due to policy. They required two $100 deposits for each booking.
The next room they gave me smelled fine, but the sheets were dirty. I found a lady who cleaned the rooms and she promptly replaced the sheets.
The desk agents were pleasant in their responses.
This experience put a cloud over my vacation.
