Love this hotel! It's obviously new. Location is great, close to lots of restaurants and such. The front desk is amazing!! So helpful and polite!! The guest laundry was broken and they offered to do a load of clothes for me! Breakfast is great! I will stay here again, definitely!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It appears to be a pit stop for truckers. The bathroom and shower floors are black and filthy. The maid refuses to clean the room if you’re not gone by 8am. We got locked out of our room because the door is do heavy the latch fell, which made us miss our event. We told 3 different staff members to be sure our rooms were clean and they did not do it. When we followed up she lied and said we did not ask and then changed her story. It was one thing after the other and the staff did not care. Don’t waste your time here. You won’t be satisfied.

GREAT hotel. Horrible & annoying customer service? I got a room around 12am yesterday. Check in is labeled every where as 3pm and check out is 12pm next day. At 9:50ish in the morning I get frantic knocking on my door. The room service lady is asking me what time I’ll be leaving. I said 12, that’s when check out is. And shut the door. I was really disrupted because I left due to a situation with my house where I was unable to sleep. I tried to go back to sleep and then at 11:52 she’s knocking again!!!! I am literally grabbing my bag to leave at this point. I opened the door and said what? And she stuttered and I said it is not 12. I’m literally leaving in a second.
I walked back in, grabbed my pillow and headed out the door to leave. When I opened the door, that room service lady was well as 3 other room service people were standing there talking about me?!? So I walked out and said “looks it’s check out time now.” I walked to the reception and she was so confused why they would do that. I confirmed I left prior to check out time and she said yes. I’ve had A LOT of hotel experiences, but this one was wild. Paid $174 to be woken up rudely. And then to deal with this house keeping lady TWO more times after that.

4th floor smells like wet dog. Waited 30 min for front desk to check me in because person working said they didn't know how. employee that was smoking by the pool decides to park in diamond elite parking spot. When brought up to management nothing was done. Very Disappointing. Greener stay points not being added to stay. Asked front desk about adding them and the employee didn't know how. Breakfast as ok. Poorly run facility.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Houston during my holiday, and I had a great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my stay even better.
The location was convenient, with easy access to many places in the city. I also appreciated the quiet and relaxing atmosphere after a long day out.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Houston.
