Somehow this hotel was on a suggested list of places to stay while we were here for a wedding. I assumed a hotel in this area would be upscale but never assume anything. This room is not a suite. It is a basic room with a kitchenette. If you need a place to cook your own food, this is it. They didn’t even have an ice machine. The guy at the desk told us to turn on the ice maker in the freezer. Unless you need to prepare your meals, pay a few bucks more and stay at the Embassy Suites down the road. I assumed too much when I made this non refundable reservation. So look carefully at what you are getting before you book.

Overall 1 star maybe 1.5 but I’m not feeling too generous today
1. Ah yes , the place that made my family way for the days spent with no electricity, they don’t even remind us in advance to pay for the days with no electricity, we had to spend all of our money and then they have the audacity to make us pay 7 days in advance for not paying for the days with no electricity early enough
2. Pest control never comes, when does it come? It’s been 3 months , roaches and ants everywhere , in our plates and bathroom , crawling in the microwave
3. It’s just generally not a pleasant place , the stay here had been mid if not worse , I’d recomend finding a different place to stay at if I’m going to be completely honest , the best thing about it is probably its location not like it’s a pretty place but it’s close enough to the middle school / neighborhood to walk
Not to mention I dont remember the last time they’ve actually changed out the AC , it’s hot in here

Our room is wall to wall with the laundry room, 24hr coffee machines, exit door, it is very loud, you feel the vibration of the washing machines against our wall Our head board is on. The machines Bang on the wall . The slaming of the washing machine doors is heard and felt too. All I've done here is cry out of frustration. The people upstairs are very loud as well. And I smelled weed in the hallway by our room. Our kitchen sink don't work either. I'm sleep deprived and sad. Don't stay here. It's hood here very hood. Ghetto to say the least. This place has made me question my very existence in life. I haven't prayed this much in ages. I also gave this room a blessing, the vibes here are dark. Something negative happened in this room. Could be on the verge of being haunted. Lots of residual energy in this room. Warning don't stay in this room.

Not a 5 star, but the place is pretty good, bed was decent. AC worked TV had good channels seemed pretty clean all the regular chef microwave fridge dishes. Well worth the money.

One of the most disappointing hotel experiences. The only redeeming quality of this establishment is its proximity to the City Centre, despite being situated right next to a post office and directly behind a Fuddruckers restaurant. Unfortunately, even with this advantageous location, the hotel's safety and security left much to be desired. Inadequate lighting both in the parking lot and around the hotel, which led us to use the side entrance closest to our room, added to our concerns. To make matters worse, the service provided by the staff and housekeepers was below par, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was severely lacking. The pervasive odors of urine, weed, and garbage lingered in the air. The frame above our bed seemed to have been tainted with animal urine and was disturbingly sticky.
Regrettably, the air conditioning system barely functioned, despite being set to a chilly 62 degrees. Non-operational windows prevented any fresh air or airflow from entering the room, compounding the discomfort caused by the malfunctioning AC unit. The carpets in both the living room and bedroom appeared neglected and had not seen a proper cleaning in quite some time.
Adding to the already dire situation, we encountered several roaches in our clothes, suitcase, around the bed, and even in the kitchen. When we tried to report these issues to the front desk during check-out on Sunday around 10:30am, there was no one there to address our concerns, even after waiting for more than 10 minutes for someone to arrive, leaving us with the impression that they may not have taken the matter seriously even if they were present. In sum, our entire experience felt akin to staying in a subpar college dorm room and was a profound letdown. I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel!
