    Unforgettable Birthday Weekend – Incredible Staff and Service! I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Houston Plaza/Medical Center from May 9–12 2025 to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I made my reservation, Kevin, the Sales Manager, was incredibly helpful in arranging special accommodations and ensuring everything was set up to make my weekend extra memorable. Upon arrival, the front desk staff welcomed me warmly and continued to provide outstanding service throughout my stay. They checked in on me during my visit, promptly moved me to a new room when I mentioned a mildew smell, replaced my room key each time I locked myself out, and even located a package that had been delivered to the hotel. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, professional, and attentive—including the gentleman monitoring breakfast each morning, who was so friendly and courteous. But I especially want to recognize Darby. She was an absolute gem! Darby went above and beyond to accommodate me, ensured all my needs were met, and made everything happen with grace and excellence. Her level of customer service was unmatched, and I’m incredibly grateful for her kindness and professionalism. She truly made my birthday weekend unforgettable. Huge thanks to Kevin, Darby, and the entire Hilton Houston Plaza/Medical Center team for such a warm and memorable experience. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!

    The staff has been amazing. They are super friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. They have done everything to resolve issues they can fix and offered to move me rooms. Location is also decent. That said, some of the things worth mentioning: when I first arrived there was fresh blood on one of the pillows (they brought a new pillow). Then the AC wasn’t working well, and while they did change the filter (which was really dirty), the room still has an overwhelming mildew smell every time I walk in. Also my shower handle fell right off (didn’t apply any force to make that happen) and was unable to reattach to turn water off (they did come to fix this). The walls are also paper thin. So I now feel emotionally invested my neighbor’s nightly 10pm 2+hour long business and personal calls (the man has big goals, loves his wife endlessly, and hates Greg in accounting). The large gap under the connecting room door turns private conversations into shared experiences! Phone calls, bathroom breaks, and NSFW activities are delivered in glorious hi-def surround sound from all neighbors! For $200 a night, I was hoping for a little more. The staff really is the highlight here, I can’t say that enough! If only the rooms could catch up 🤧

    The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Antonio who was wonderful and made check in super easy. Kevaun was super accommodating and allowed to have a late check out at no additional charge. Breakfast was good, rooms were super clean and the hotel overall. Location is just 10-15 minutes from everything. Only complaint was the water pressure. Will definitely stay here again.

    Very bad experience. FD supervisor very rude and basically does not know how to treat customers. We called and checked with another staff who told us at 3 pm that our room was ready and we came to the property and the supervisor without checking flatly told us that there are no rooms till 4. Pool was under maintenance and we checked with a staff and was first told that we could use the sister property next door to swim and hence we don’t need to check out. Later on we were told that we can’t use the pool and hence we need to check out now or else get charged with a night. Very rude and arrogant. I am not sure if Hilton understands they are in an hospitality business and hence being courteous is paramount. I requested the manager to call me and no return calls. I would highly recommend visitors to be aware specially at the rate they charge you. Follow up: Micheal thanks for the quick reply but no response to my calls and emails.

    King suite room was spacious and clean. Front desk service was very friendly upon checking in and when passing by the front. Was disappointed to learn while checking in that the pool was closed due to construction. The location fit perfect for my walk to the Texas Children’s hospital I needed to do daily while staying. I can’t say enough for my service at the sites Starbucks. One morning I went to grab a coffee and found the line over 10 deep. The line moved quickly and I was greeted with a smile from Mylinda who I saw working alone but handled the line with ease and still shared a smile. I was also presented with one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had. So good I went up for a second serving. Thank you Mylinda, keep up the great work, and slinging great coffee. Sincerely, Hot cappuccino with heavy cream.
