For those looking to visit NASA, this is the hotel to stay at. Its lakeside view is breathtaking! It has every amenity you could want from a restaurant, bar, breakfast buffet, pool, gym and concession stand.
The rooms are about as good as they can be from a building built 40 years ago. The AC rattles every time it turns on and the space feels a bit cramped. It feels like they've done what they can to keep things as up to date as possible though with a mini fridge, ironing board, work desk and soap dispensers in the shower.
I feel if I could change one thing in this hotel right now, I would place a photo of a coinciding planet at the elevator exit at each floor level. My 7 year old son and I got excited when we reached floor 5 (where we stayed) and saw a big picture of Jupiter (the fifth planet) getting off the elevator. In our excitement, we explored the other floors hoping to see Venus on two and Mars on four. Instead, we got a mirror, nebula pictures, another picture of Jupiter... Details count! Bring
on the Uranus image on seven, Neptune on eight and Pluto on nine.

We were greeted by Vanessa who took very good care of us at the front desk. We appreciated her professional attitude and getting us checked in. The only thing, I was not impressed was the room. The bed was really uncomfortable. Overall the hotel grounds were nice and it was nice to be close to the space center.

I've stayed at multiple Hilton's and this one was definitely not great. The gals at the front desk didn't mention anything at check in about what time breakfast was, where it was, where the elevators were, they just handed me a parking pass and that's it. The wait for the 3 elevators (for 14 floors) was terrible. We ended up taking the stairs up and down to the 5th floor multiple times, cutting through the laundry room. When we arrived at breakfast they said we needed meal tickets but nothing was ever provided. Breakfast was not stocked, no bowls, empty fruit bowls, empty entree dishes. I asked for a glass of orange juice twice and was given a glass of room temperature water, coffee was gross on our second day. We got two canned drinks at $11/each from the pantry area and they were not cold. Our room was very dated and old. The Lake View we paid extra for was a tiny triangle balcony off the corner of our room. the 4 of us (2 adults/2 kids) definitely wouldn't have fit out there together. The door to the closet was missing. The doors looked like they were from the 1980's, wood-like, flimsy. Our neighbors were up yelling and fighting at midnight one night. I definitely wouldn't stay there again. Not sure why it was so dated and unwell kept.

It's been several years, but I wanted to leave a review since I didn't before.
I was researching the area while on a solo trip and found this gem through my Hilton membership.
It's a conference center, but has a nice pool and location on the water. The rooms were more "business" than "vacation", but very nice, spacious, and comfortable.
I ordered room service a few times and it was very good. The few times I needed anything and couldn't get down to the lobby, they were very attentive and prompt.
Interesting area on the bay with a lot to do!

Great place if you are trying to head to the Houston space centre and stay for the night. You should absolutely go to the little corner shop for free coffee and tea and a mountain load of snacks, drinks and medicine. The restaurant there had an absolutely gorgeous view. P.S pool is awesome!!!
