We had a very nice early lunch. The food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. It was early so there was not a whole lot of people there, but even if there was the area very spacious. The only thing that I did not like was the catfish but that’s just personal preference I’m not a big catfish person. There’s only a handful places that I’ll eat it at, but I did order the Battleship which included catfish. It was a great dish. my husband did like the catfish. It was big enough to share between the two of us. My daughter ordered the coconut shrimp which she enjoyed and my son ordered the shrimp Alfredo, which he thought was very good as well.

We LOVE tookies seafood! I refuse to try anything else on the menu because the crab is so good. But husband loves all their fried shrimp, fried oysters, etc. the gumbo is good too! Nice casual atmosphere to sit and watch a game in the bar area as well. It’s always a treat coming here! Only thing I would say was I wish they had a better wine menu!

Excellent food and environment. Lots of choices on the menu, even for the non-seafopd lover. Beer was cold and open kitchen provided a show.

Texas beer selection was good. I had the New Orleans Cajun Shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were small (positive point since this is an appetizer) and a bit overcooked. The star of the dish was the Cajun BBQ sauce. I could have easily consumed all of the garlic bread by dipping and soaking up the sauce. I had the mesquite grilled gulf snapper. It was also a bit overcooked; other might prefer the doneness. The lemon butter complimented the fish. The veggies were perfectly cooked. I expected the "southern rice" to be more like dirty rice, but it's more like rice with some peas, carrots, and parsley. I would return to try other dishes since they have a large menu. Service was excellent, too.

Nice place. Good food and excellent staff service. I am allergic to real crab. Waitress tapped into what I said and made sure I was good. Gave me some benadryl as a precautionary measure. Thank you, Kathia and Tookie's, for a great lunch.
