The food was exceptional. Great pricing and the staff very friendly. The Jampong was probably one of the best we ever had.
The menu is very varietal with a mixture of Chinese and Korean cuisine but it tastes very authentic. The kimchi is superb 👌
Highly recommended!

I like the vibe of this restaurant. The Koi fish on the outside wall is well done and beautiful. The retro French posters inside are cool and fits the decor even though it reads more. It Ames and Chinese. The service was attentive.
1. The Sizzling Rice Soup is my favorite dish. The soup is so flavorful and so comforting. If I was to eat this again I would not have them pour it into the soup. I’d rather put it in my self. That way the rice doesn’t get too soggy.
2. The Beijing fish buns were delicious. The sweetness balanced with the steamed rice bun. However, for the price I’d rather order the Beijing Fish entree which has more fish and eaten with rice.
3. The Pong Lai Beef is super crispy and yummy. But I can only eat a few bites because I found too sweet, even when eaten with rice.
4. The Zhajian Mian was my least favorite. I was expecting more punch of flavors but found it a little bland. May it can’t hold to all the previous dishes which has more flavors. I like the noodles but no the sauce.
5. At first bite the kimchi was great. It was sweet and tart. But it can only be eaten in small portions because it’s too acidic. I can eat a lot of Korean kimchi at one go but not this one.
Overall, I’d come back to try other dishes.

We stopped here for lunch after shopping in Memorial City. As someone who grew up in Oakland eating authentic Chinese food, I appreciate this reataurant's authenticity. Sizzling rice soup is hard to find and they have a really good one. Everything tasted fresh and was piping hot. Cocktails were tasty too. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful! The lunch was superb, with highlights including Fish Buns, Sizzling Rice Soup, Shrimp with walnut sauce, Zhajlang Mian over wheat noodles, and Pong Kai Beef. The service was also impressive.

Service is amazing from start to finish. I had the Beijing fish, my partner had the Beijing pork. Both options were delicious! Paired w/steamed rice. Pleasantly suprised, so good. ❤️
